Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly received by our local guide and transferred to your hotel, approximately a 40-minute drive. Hanoi, often referred to as the “River-bound City,” is Vietnam’s capital with a rich history dating back over a thousand years. The city’s charm lies in its ancient streets, colonial-era architecture, tree-lined boulevards, tranquil lakes, and vibrant cultural heritage. After check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is free for leisure and relaxation. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Hanoi’s most significant landmarks and historical sites. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, dedicated to the life and legacy of Vietnam’s founding father, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, built in 1070 to honor Confucius and distinguished scholars. In the afternoon, visit one museum of your choice, such as the Museum of Ethnology, Fine Arts Museum, or the Museum of Vietnamese History. Later, enjoy a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, steeped in legend and located on a small island. Conclude the day with a leisurely walk or shopping experience in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, famous for its 36 ancient streets. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Halong Bay, a scenic drive of approximately 3.5 hours. En route, enjoy views of the Red River Delta countryside and stop at a local handicraft workshop. Upon arrival in Halong City, board your traditional cruise vessel and enjoy a welcome drink before setting sail. As you cruise through the spectacular limestone karsts and emerald waters of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, take in close-up views of iconic formations such as Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, and Sail Island. The cruise includes visits to Sung Sot Cave and a stop at Titov Beach for swimming. As the sun sets, relax on deck, enjoy dinner on board, and participate in evening activities such as night fishing. Early risers can enjoy the serene beauty of Halong Bay at dawn, breathing in the fresh sea air while watching the bay awaken. After breakfast, continue cruising to visit Human Head Island and Tortoise Island, followed by exploration of Bai Tu Long Bay, known as the “Little Dragon Bowing to His Mother.” After check-out and lunch on board, disembark and transfer back to Hanoi Airport for your onward flight to Danang (flight not included). In the morning, depart for Ba Na Hills, driving along the scenic Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal road and passing Red Beach, where the French first landed in Danang. Upon arrival, ride the world-famous cable car, holding Guinness World Records for length and height, offering breathtaking views of lush forests and waterfalls. Explore the iconic Golden Bridge, dramatically supported by giant stone hands and suspended above the clouds. Continue to visit Le Jardin, ancient French villas, old wineries, and Linh Ung Pagoda with its towering Buddha statue. Ascend to the summit of Chua Mountain for panoramic views of Danang before exploring scenic attractions such as Dreaming Stream, Rainbow Waterfall, and the old Opera House ruins. Later, descend by cable car and transfer to Hoi An. Overnight stay in Hoi An.
After breakfast, begin the day with an excursion to Cam Thanh Coconut Village, surrounded by tranquil waterways and lush palm groves. Experience traditional fishing techniques and enjoy a unique ride in a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while exploring the peaceful canals. Later, visit the ancient town of Hoi An, a beautifully preserved trading port from the 15th to 19th centuries and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided walking tour covering key attractions such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, traditional merchant houses like Tan Ky Old House, and the Sa Huynh Culture Museum. Enjoy a relaxed morning before transferring to Danang Airport for your flight to Saigon (flight not included). Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Formerly known as Saigon, this vibrant city is Vietnam’s economic hub, blending modern energy with a rich historical past. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Begin the day with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located about 75 kilometers northwest of the city. This vast underground network played a crucial role during the Vietnam War and showcases the ingenuity and resilience of the Vietnamese resistance. Return to the city in the afternoon for a guided tour covering major landmarks such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral (view from outside), the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel, the War Remnants Museum, and the historic Reunification Palace. After breakfast, travel to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s fertile rice bowl and the world’s largest delta region. Upon arrival in My Tho, board a boat to explore the network of canals and islands. Continue to Ben Tre Province to observe coconut candy production, take a short horse-cart ride, and visit bee-keeping farms to sample fresh honey tea.
