Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be warmly welcomed with a traditional Rudraksha mala and refreshing soft drinks, symbolizing Nepal’s ancient culture and hospitality. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in, followed by time to freshen up. A short briefing will be provided about the evening plan, after which you may enjoy a leisurely walk through Thamel at your own pace, exploring its vibrant streets, shops, and local atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, depart at around 09:30 for a full-day sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. The tour includes a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples, followed by the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, a major center of Tibetan Buddhism. Continue to Budhanilkantha, home to the Jal Narayan statue, and then to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. The tour concludes with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, renowned for its historical temples and the residence of the Living Goddess. You will be dropped back at the hotel by early evening. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed on a scenic drive to Pokhara. En route, enjoy a cable car ride to the revered Manakamana Temple, with ample time for darshan. Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayan peaks and enjoy the serene views of this charming lakeside city. After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara, covering popular attractions such as Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindhyabasini Temple, Seti River Gorge, and the Pokhara Museum. Chitwan National Park, located in the Terai region of southern Nepal, is regarded as one of the finest wildlife reserves in Asia. Activities include a peaceful canoe ride along the Rapti or Budhi Rapti River, where you may spot gharial and mugger crocodiles basking along the riverbanks, along with a variety of birdlife and wildlife unique to the region. Depart Chitwan in the morning and drive towards Nagarkot. En route, visit Bhaktapur, a historic city from the Malla era, also known as Bhadgaon, celebrated for its well-preserved traditions, culture, and architecture. Bhaktapur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a fascinating glimpse into Nepal’s medieval past. Continue onwards to Nagarkot, situated at an altitude of 2,175 meters above sea level. This hill station is famous for its panoramic Himalayan views, including peaks such as Dhaulagiri, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Manaslu, and even Mount Everest on a clear day. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular sunset over the snow-capped mountains. Overnight stay at Nagarkot.
