Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, you will be warmly welcomed and assisted by our representative before being transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. The tour includes Mohammed V Square, the Royal Palace (view from outside), the Habous District, the residential area of Anfa, and the United Nations Square. Visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and intricate tilework. Later, enjoy a drive along the Ain Diab Corniche overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Dinner and overnight stay in Casablanca.
After breakfast, depart for Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco, founded in the 12th century by the Almohads. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour including the Mohamed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, the Oudayas Garden, the Mechouar, and the ramparts surrounding the Royal Palace. Continue to Meknes, which flourished under Sultan Moulay Ismail and is famous for its massive city walls and the impressive Bab Al Mansour gate, considered one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco. After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes, the oldest of Morocco’s imperial cities, founded in 790 by Idriss I. For centuries, Fes was a major political, spiritual, and intellectual center of the Islamic world. The city’s rich legacy includes ancient universities, madrasas, and bustling souks. The tour covers highlights such as the Medina, Medersa, Bab Boujloud, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), traditional souks, and the New Medina. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.
After breakfast, depart through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing the alpine-style town of Ifrane and Azrou, a renowned handicraft center. Continue south through dramatic landscapes of fertile valleys, cedar forests, and rocky plateaus, home to nomadic shepherds and Barbary apes. Pass through Midelt, a historic mining town surrounded by orchards, before reaching Erfoud, a gateway to the Sahara Desert. From here, transfer by 4-wheel-drive vehicles to the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Early risers may enjoy the magical sunrise over the dunes, as shifting colors and shadows create a stunning spectacle. After breakfast, return by 4-wheel-drive to Erfoud and continue towards Tinghir via Tinejdad, passing ancient kasbahs along the route. Visit the spectacular Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural landmarks, carved by the Todra and Dades rivers.
